The Baring Union Christian College since its inception has been a trail blazer in the field of education. In its glorious history the college has undergone several types of changes in terms of academic structure, volume and stature. Change invariably brings trials but the college was sufficiently resilient and buoyant; and enriched in experience and maturity to weather them.

Now while leading the college as the Principal I feel a great sense of responsibility and I want to be singularly focused on the great task of taking this temple of learning to progressive heights of human endeavor and achievement.

We at Baring College are determined to focus on the over all development of the students who enter the portals of this prestigious college. In the process much has to be put into perspective as every student traverses the path of self discovery. I realize that in the present time one has to be  sensitive to and be aware of the changing needs of the student. Our motive is to be able to rise up and adequately respond to this great need.

To make the whole teaching process a success, motivating and inspiring the teaching community is of utmost importance. Fortunately we have a team of competent staff who are committed to the job of transforming lives. My sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff members who have extended their unstinted support and together we will work for the noble cause of education. I firmly believe that it is important to rise above issues and march ahead with unflinching courage and steadfastness of push ahead the cause.
