Library department is the life-line of all academic activities of the college. It procures reading material processes it and circulate it among the readers.
The department manages the central library and book bank. Beside rendering excellent library service the department is doing yeoman's service in promoting reading habits among the students through personal Reference service and Book-Examinations.
Library department arranges library orientation program for the new students. Through these lectures, the students are told how to use the library, facilities available in the library and the discipline while reading in the library. The department is very well known for its services.

DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The Department provides all facilities for all games and sports recognized by the university. There are two well qualified directors of Physical Education. Special camps are organized to motivate and train the students for games. A wide variety of games and sports events for university/states level competitions are included in college physical education program.
Students are trained facilitate to participation in all games and sports competitions sponsored by G.N.D.U. The annual meet is one of the main traction of the college.

POST GRADUATE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SC. & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
In 1991, the management of Baring College took and innovative step by establishing Department of Computer Science and Applications and added to its curriculum full time graduation degree like B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc (Economics), BA (Computer Application ). Further in 2001 the management started advanced Computer courses like Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) as degree course and post graduate diploma in computer Application (PGDCA). The department has started M.Sc. (Computer Science) in 2005. The Department has developed an excellent infrastructure which includes 60 branded personnel computer (Hewlett Packard (HP) Company) with multimedia facilities, Hardware lab and internet facility. Objectives
To provide an in-depth knowledge of Computer Science and IT courses through experienced Faculty and in house practical training.
To train student through Technical and Personality Development Workshops and prepare them to launch their careers as programmer, Systems Analyst, Network Administrator, Data Base Administrator, Web Designers, Data Managers etc.
To improve the technical and managerial of students by organizing seminars, workshops and competitions.
To bridge the gap between the format IT education and requirements of Industry through constant monitoring the changes in IT Sector.

Salient Features
E-attendance : This technique is used to maintain the attendance of students, preparing lecture statement sand other information by clicking a push button.
E-Exam : This technique is used to test the knowledge of students through on-line examination. Student can print his/her result chart after the on-line test is over. The practice session module is also added in this software.
Software Development and Data Processing center : This center helps the college to develop the software for various departments as their requirements, documentation tasks and internet related work.
Lecture Series : The prominent teachers of other college & Universities visit to deliver lectures to students from time to time.
